Education Centre available to medical community

The opening of the Grace Hospital Education Centre reinforces Grace’s commitment to ongoing education – for both the Grace Hospital team and the wider medical community.

“Education is an integral part of the Grace philosophy” commented Janet Keys, General Manager for Grace Hospital. “We are committed to staying at the forefront of medical development and ensuring that members of our team have ongoing opportunities to continue their professional development.  Adding a dedicated education facility to the Grace Campus was a logical step for us, and we are already putting it to good use with regular lectures and training sessions”.

Conveniently located just 10 minutes’ drive from central Tauranga, the Education Centre is also available to the wider medical community who are encouraged to use it for training, seminars, presentations or product displays.

“We’re pleased to make it accessible to others in the medical community” says Keys. “It’s important that we all work together to further the development of medicine, and providing a facility that can act as a central hub for this type of activity is one of the ways we are encouraging this.”

The custom designed centre comprises theatre style facilities for 80 with audio visual equipment including data projector, smart TV, lecturn, microphones, electronic whiteboard and wifi.  The main room converts easily into a boardroom style setting while the adjoining lobby with private deck provides an ideal break-out room or refreshment area.

The centre has floor-to-ceiling windows along one wall giving both rooms a pleasant, open outlook and plenty of natural light. It’s serviced by a kitchenette with servery into the main room and delegates have use of ample free on-site car-parking.   A full catering service is offered.

Anyone interested in using the facility should contact 07 577-5270 or info@gracehospital.co.nz.
