Covid-19 Precautions as of 13th Dec 2021

Written by Janet Keys, General Manager on December 13th, 2021.      0 comments

All patients coming to Grace for a procedure should be double vaccinated. This will reduce the risk of transmission of Covid-19 to other patients, staff and consultants. When interacting with your consultant’s staff you will be asked your vaccination status.

Patients who are unvaccinated will be individually assessed and may proceed for surgery with additional measures in place.

All visitors coming into Grace Hospital should also be double vaccinated. We are permitting only one designated visitor per patient during hospitalisation. No children are permitted as visitors.

At present we are requiring all patients to be tested for Covid19 within 72 hours of admission. Patients will be contacted to arrange this.

All patients and visitors will be asked screening questions, please advise us if you have any symptoms of Covid-19 or have been in close contact with a positive or suspected case.

All healthcare workers at Grace Hospital are double vaccinated.

We’re hopeful with the above measures in place we can manage to keep covid19 out of Grace Hospital, thanks for your co-operation.
