Level 2 - What it means for Grace Hospital

Written by Janet Keys, General Manager on September 7th, 2021.      0 comments

We are performing surgeries at the same level as prior to this current lockdown. Usual booking processes will occur, but there will be more screening questions asked of patients during all of our processes to ensure that there is no Covid-19 risk associated with your admission.

Masks, QR codes, sanitising

Everyone entering the hospital must scan the QR code at the door, be wearing a mask, and sanitise their hands before entering any area.

Visiting is restricted during level 2

All patients and visitors must wear masks. Patients can be accompanied into the admission lounge by one visitor, who must leave as the patient is taken through for admission. No visitors for day patients, but they can be dropped off and picked up from within the hospital. Inpatients may have one designated visitor per patient throughout a patient's stay in hospital, between 9am and 6pm. No children please.

Physical distancing

Please try to maintain a 2 metre distance between yourself and others at all times. Grace Hospital staff will be wearing PPE whenever they are in close contact with you.

Mobile devices

We have free wifi available so that you can keep in contact with friends and family, so please bring your device.

If you have any queries, please contact info@gracehospital.co.nz and we’ll try to get back to you quickly.

Take care, we’ll see you soon

Kind regards

Janet Keys, General Manager
