Dr Llewelyn studied at the University of Birmingham, studied Gastroenterology in NZ and completed a fellowship in Inflammatory Bowel Diseases in Brisbane.
He is continuing education through clinical trials via Tauranga Hospital, advanced training in Gastroenterology teaching and endoscopy training.  he is a member of the Society of Gastroenterology and the American College of Gastroenterology.
