Since graduating from Otago Medical School (1993) Adam has worked in Wellington, Lower Hutt, Auckland, Waikato and Middlemore Hospitals in a variety of different surgical specialties. He was trained in the New Zealand Plastic Surgery training program at Middlemore Hospital in South Auckland and Hutt Hospital in Lower Hutt. After being awarded his Fellowship in Plastic Surgery, he further honed his knowledge with extended visits to some of the most prominent plastic surgeons in Australia and Europe. 

Adam is a member of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, an invitation-only society of International Plastic Surgeons, which is a professional association devoted to maintenance of excellent ethical and professional standards within the field. Additionally, he has been on the executive of the New Zealand Association of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (NZAPS) and is an international member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS).

With a focus on providing his patients on the latest techniques, supported by state-of-the-art equipment in his private Tauranga practice, Adam regularly presents to local general practitioners, general practice registrars and nursing groups to ensure all are well versed in what is available in the region.

Adam lives in Tauranga with his family, making the most of what the region has to offer, enjoying windsurfing and mountain biking in particular.
