He brings the benefit of his extensive training and experience in Ireland and Australia, and specialises in both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy. With his colleagues at the Clinical Trial Unit at Tauranga Hospital, he takes an active part in clinical trials in IBD, acting as a sub-investigator and principal investigator. Sunny has presented research at numerous international meetings, and is the author of a number of peer-reviewed publications.
Sunny, his wife and their puppy, Rufus, enjoy the sunshine and the outdoor lifestyle Tauranga offers, and are glad to call the Bay their home. In particular, Sunny is a keen runner and a boot camp fanatic.
